Nanny's RoomSaturday, May 25th at 10:30 a.m.
Join us as we reveal the Nanny’s Room! The only domestic help to live with the Jackson family in the mansion was Helen Jameson or as the family called her - Maggie. Her room is being sponsored by Marilyn Gibbons in memory of her husband Joseph Gibbons and in honor of their children.
During the room opening you will get a chance to see the P.T. Barnum inspired Jumbo Wall Paper, rare mechanical money banks, and an early sewing machine. The Jackson Mansion tours will run 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Click here for pricing.
The David A. Sadock House (across the street) is free (donations accepted) and will be open 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. for tours.
